Agents and configuration tools
Hermes and OpenClaw can act on files and external tools. Verify a simple response before allowing those actions. CC-Switch, Claude Code Router, Codex++ and AiMaMi configure or route other clients. They do not replace the underlying model service. Avoid multiple tools writing the same client’s configuration at once.Address and capability checks
Clients differ in whether they expect a root host, a base URL ending in/v1, or a complete endpoint. Follow the selected guide and check the final request address. A working text request does not guarantee tools, images or every optional parameter. See Gateway configuration and API compatibility.
