CC-Switch manages configurations for clients such as Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI. Install the client you intend to use first, then install [CC-Switch](https://github.com/farion1231/cc-switch/releases). Import and back up existing settings before switching them.

Add an Infistar provider in the correct client tab:

| Client | Endpoint | Protocol/authentication |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Claude Code | `https://infistar.ai` | Messages, `ANTHROPIC_AUTH_TOKEN` |
| Codex | `https://infistar.ai/v1` | Responses, with a compatible model |
| Gemini CLI | `https://infistar.ai` | Gemini API key with Bearer authentication |

Enter your Infistar key and exact model ID. Enable the provider: adding it to the list alone does not switch the active configuration. Fully close the client and restart it to load the new settings.

If requests still go to a vendor's default address, check which configuration is active and whether the client was restarted. The address alone does not identify every possible authentication problem. Do not run CC-Switch, Codex++ and AiMaMi as competing editors of the same configuration.

## Check the connection

Use an exact model ID available to your key, and begin with a short text request. For coding agents, first ask for a reply without reading or changing files or running commands. A successful text reply does not verify every tool or multimodal feature.

For 401, check the key and its status. For 404, check the address and protocol. For model errors, recheck the model ID and selected group. See [HTTP troubleshooting](/en/troubleshooting/http-status-troubleshooting).
